Norbert Schindler is founder and CEO of GNSS Consulting. He received is Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University and his Masters degree (Dipl.-Ing.) at the Technical University in Vienna, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence. In the course of his career, Norbert has led challenging international technology projects in Europe, North America, and East Asia. In 2003, Norbert moved from the Telecommunications sector to the field of Electronic Tolling. Since 2008, he has made regular contributions to the Thinking Highways magazine and has made numerous presentations at international conferences on the subject of Satellite-Based Tolling.
As Global Sales Manager of the Tolling Headquarters at Siemens AG for more than 12 years, Norbert participated in the evaluation and preparation of offers for the deployment of GNSS-based technologies for electronic tolling systems in the following countries:
